The University of California, Berkeley School of Social Welfare offers a 2 year study program that leads to an MSW degree and is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
The MSW course program covers the training of social workers in a wide variety of professional leadership positions and also in advanced practice roles.
All students will become knowledgeable in social and psychological concerns, the overall organization of social services and also social welfare policies.
By using skills of critical inquiry and their specialized knowledge and theory, graduates will become adept at applying specific intervention methods.
