socialworkmonth Social workers are employed by many organizations throughout the United States. Their very demanding careers are necessary to the well being of our society. In almost every organization you will find a social worker. They work in hospitals, in drug rehabilitation centers, child protective services, with the military, with mental health professionals, in schools. They work with young children and with the elderly; with terminally ill individuals and with drug addicts. They are involved with human services and work to improve the way of life for so many people. For this reason and many more, let’s thank our social workers during Social Work Month in March. (more…)
